Date: 1-26-15

Scheduled Time: 5:15

Meeting #:

In Attendance: Eric A, Eric C, Erik M, Kevin, Anne, Shan, Cassie, Kiley, Eric V
Started: 5:16

Ended: 6:25

Scenery:
Presented Revised Research
Idea of Bridge to adulthood out of play things
Sense of levels
Utilize the voms, reach out into them
Knotted ropes/hangmans noose- symbol of Moritz/foreshadowing
Eric does not want the merry go round to be the center piece
If we do Merry Go Round- it will either have to be based in basement, below trap or have
casters around it.
Interior scenes will have carried in props, or will be adjusted to set
Still looking at the idea of projecting words on the set
Lights:
Eric still wants the idea of shadow/projection of words -> wants to see the physical
source
Have the object, but reinforce with projection
Investigated Ideas of using iPros or projection
FINAL DISCUSSION: could have the lantern at center and the projection of the words
static (use of iPros) and allow the movement to be from the merry go round (IE sex
scene on merry go round with other actors around and moving the merry go round)
Eric wants illuminated words to be oppressive, not bright.
Costumes:
Conceptual Research
Saturation from clothes
Pale dress Wendla, White Shirt-Melchior for sex scene
Props:
Piano will be the one used in Vibrator
Sound:
Places/Instruments for all musicians
Looking at mic inventory and whether we will have to use lapels or level-ear to mic cast.
(We have a full cast of 16)
How much playground are we seeing? What do we hear off stage?
Still looking at the rusty playground equipment movement
House music: laughing children?
