The Convention
This convention is proudly brought to you by the Iyengar Yoga Community of South East Asia.
Themed Understanding of Iyengar Yoga - Precision. Timing. Sequencing, the Convention
will provide a great opportunity for practitioners, industry players and enthusiasts to explore
and most importantly, understand this form of yoga from a very special guest, Abhijata Sridar
Iyengar, the granddaughter of the renowned Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar. Abhijata has taught at
various international conventions and independently at the United Kingdom, Australia, the
United States, China, France and many other countries.

The Special Edition

In order to commemorate this special occasion, we will be launching a special edition booklet
which will consist of the wisdom of Iyengar Yoga written exclusively by the Senior Iyengar
Yoga Teachers & Practitioners. It will also highlight enlightening and inspiring interviews
with the Iyengar family i.e. B.K.S Iyengar(Guruji), his children, Prashantji and Geetaji and
his granddaughter, Abhijata.
Comprising of more than 35 articles, each of these articles are pearls of wisdom, promising to
guide and enrich its readers with greater understanding in the simplicities and greatness of life
through Iyengar Yoga.
