Learned the fundamentals of accounting and how to prepare a balance sheet, income statement, statement of
equity, as well as basic debit and credit activities. Analyzed statements to evaluate performance, special
decisions, and long-range planning.
INTRO TO MANAGEMENT SCIENCE
Made decisions using the applications of the quantitative modeling theory. Introduced to Linear
Programming, decision theory, queuing, and simulation and forecasting methods. Implemented spreadsheet
models for business application.
HOSPITALITY THEMED EVENTS
Successfully managed a budget for a student held event in which 90 guests were served a three course meal as
well as provided with entertainment. In addition, I helped manage the staff of 60 students to conduct the
event. I also supervised all back of house operations to another student held event which was also successful.
