Afterasmartboardpresentationthe
FIRSTGRADESTUDENTwillbeable
tonameandlocatethefivesenses
with100%accuracy.
Theteacherwillgiveanexampleof
eachsenseandthendrawthebody
partssuchas:tongue,nose,ear,
eyes,andhand.Thenastudentwill
havetheopportunitytoparticipate
anddrawanobjectthatitisrelated
toeachofthefivesenses.Attheend
theteacherwillgiveexamplesof
eachsenseandthestudentswillbe
abletoidentifythesense.
REFLECTION:
Wethoughtthatthesmartboardmightbemoreusefulinanupperlevelclassroominorderfor
studentstoparticipatemore.Wechoseafirstgradeclassandwethinkthatitmightbealittleharder
forthemtousethesmartboard.Howeverwethinkthatwewillusethisinthefutureinourclassroom
anditwillbegoodtechnologytoincorporateintheclassroom.
