Re: Letter of Recommendation for Erin Roberson

Erin Roberson worked for me as a volunteer laboratory assistant for several weeks during the summer of
2015. She helped me in the preparation of laboratory exercises for the genetics and microbiology summer
courses at Central Michigan University. I found Erin to be a dependable, hardworking and intelligent
student with a positive attitude.
Erin quickly picked up the essential skills and techniques to perform the laboratory preparation
procedures. She was able to listen to directions, work efficiently and complete the assigned tasks in a
timely manner. She worked closely with another student assistant, observed her closely, learned from her
experience, assisted as needed and was always respectful and cooperative.
Erin showed increasing confidence and progressive improvement during her short stay and though I do
not have direct knowledge of her academics, I am confident she is a solid student. Erin is a goal oriented
person who sets high standards for herself and works hard to achieve them. She has academic as well as
life goals, and takes a mature and serious approach toward meeting her aspirations.
Erin is quiet and unassuming and has a terrific attitude. I am certain she will have a successful and
fulfilling career because she is capable and determined to make a difference. Her kind, caring and
understanding nature is an attribute folks in need of assistance will respect and appreciate. She has an
even temperament, doesnt get frustrated, and her friendly, easy-going manner make her a pleasure to be
around. These attributes lead me to believe Erin has chosen a perfect career path. I am confident she
will have a successful and fulfilling career providing care to others because she is capable, determined to
make a difference, and she truly cares.
Through my interactions with Erin, I feel she has demonstrated the work ethic, intelligence, and people
skills for her to be successful in any endeavor she may pursue. I urge anyone to strongly consider Erin as
I believe she would certainly be a welcome in any occupation and her contributions will make you proud.
She is a fine person and I give her a high recommendation.
