To Whom It May Concern: I consider it a privilege to recommend Mario Arteaga for a scholarship. I have known Mario for one year and he exhibits many of the fine qualities that an individual can possess. His leadership, desire and ability to work with others would make him worthy of such an award. As Marios AP Physics teacher I have come to know him very well. He is a hardworking, intelligent young man who is respected and liked by both his teachers and peers. He is also the leader of his laboratory group helping his peers see the relationship between the concepts and related math. Mario has a warm outgoing personality and I would rate him highly on the qualifications of dependability, maturity, flexibility, and moral character. Mario has maintained a 3.10 grade point average in our most challenging courses. He has participated in the following school activities: Key Club, Kiwins Vice President, Mercy Hospital and a member of the Link Crew. It has been a privilege to be associated with such an outstanding student. I know Mario Arteaga would be grateful and honored to receive a scholarship. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Bill Freitas Physics Teacher
