To Whom It May Concern:

Ms. Siera Camacho has requested I write a letter in support of her receiving a special education teaching
position. This is a task I consider both a joy and a privilege. I have the pleasure of knowing Siera as a student
in the Special Education Program and as an advisee. During this time, I have found her to be respectful,
dedicated, and personable. Being highly organized, conscientious, and timely are some of Siera’s other
strengths.

As a student, Siera has excelled throughout her program. She has an amazing work ethic. Her lessons and
activities for her clinical field placements are engaging and motivating. She strives to make her lessons
creative and meaningful for students. Siera has also shown wonderful connections with students supporting
them on the social-emotional level.

As a leader, Siera is an individual who takes on initiatives and is not afraid to take on challenges. She is a
student who consistently participates and volunteers in class. She is also willing to take on challenges. She
was in a paid student teaching placement and handled it like a veteran teacher. Whether it is in the classroom
or on campus, she leads by example and makes everyone around her a better person.

It is without reservation that I recommend Ms. Siera Camacho for a teaching position. She will be an asset to
your school district.

Sincerely,

Dr. Carrie Mitchell
