Students took turns seeing how many they could answer in a minute and they did very well after they did it a few times. 8's - today we worked on 8's using the charades app. The students took a little more time to start getting these right but once they got it they went quickly.

with the charades app. Both students took turns seeing how many they could answer in a minute and they did very well after they did it a few times. 8s Today we worked on 8s using the charades app. The students took a little more time to start getting these right but once they got it they went quickly. 9s My students had not learned the 9s trick with their fingers, so I taught them that and then we used the charades app again. They loved the strategy and picked it up very quickly. 6s As we were doing the other numbers I realized my students needed some help on 6s. We had been told to start on 7s but I thought we needed to review 6s so we focused on 6s today using the charades app. 12s Since my students knew 10s and 11s easily we focused on 12s today and used the charades app. After having done all of the other times tables they were pretty good at 12s. Review over all Since today was our last day, I created charades cards with all of the different ones on it and the students loved competing to see how many they could get each time.
