To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Alissa Glandorf. As her art teacher, it has
been a privilege to work with Alissa. Foremost, I find this young lady to be detailed oriented.
When working on a group project, Alissa is a natural leader. She organizes the roles and duties,
and then keeps everyone on task. Oftentimes, Alissa will be that student who makes sure the
project is completed by the deadline; doing whatever is necessary.
This year, the Digital Arts students had the opportunity to complete a real world task. Students
went on location to shoot video for two manufacturing facilities. Alissa was given the task of
Assistant Director. This position was given to her because of her organizational skills and her
ability to make sure the job was completed at a quality level. Alissa was exemplary in fulfilling
her role. She effectively communicated information from the businesses to the video teams. She
monitored progress of planning, filming and editing of videos. Alissa has the personality, which
allows her to work with others regardless of his/she abilities and attitudes. She is well respected
by her peers and is an affable young lady. Alissa has proven leadership qualities, which is
impressive for a person at this age. She recently was recommended for a project that needed to
be completed in a relatively short period of time. Once again, Alissa met and exceeded the
challenge.
Alissa Glandorf is a young lady of integrity. While I will miss interacting with this young lady
during my school year, I believe she is destined to do something very creative with her life.
Whatever her career and school plans include, whether a student or employee, your institution
will be proud to have her on board. I recommend Alissa as exemplary person of character.
Respectfully,
DAndra Clark
Visual and Media Arts Instructor
