    JEFFERSON AIRPLANE

    In the sixties a band was formed


    With a hippie flavor
    The Jefferson Airplane
    Piloted by Grace Slick, who was easy to savor

    True to hippie culture


    In a psychedelic mind
    The band portrays a lifestyle
    That our government considered a radical kind

    “Surrealistic Pillow”, “Somebody To Love”, “White Rabbit”


    All helped Alice find somebody to love
    But it left Alice's mind fuzzy
    A concern of our overseer above

    Some lived an entire decade


    Without being in reality
    And when they recovered
    A sense of loss of thoughts was a formality
