Dear Mr iSilly:
I write to express my interest in enhancing your companys engineers in Qatar. I will
graduate from TAMUQ in December 2018 as a Chemical Engineer. I aim to become a
Chemical Engineer in Shell Qatar -one of the best up/downstream companies in the
world- upon my graduation.
I have heard a lot about your company from the many career exhibitions around
Qatar and from the social activities Shell is participating in across all sectors in
Qatar. Your business daunted my ambitions by respecting hard working and
excellent contribution which is critical to me and thus left me with no chance but to
surrender to the desire of working and adding to its bright name. The companys
development program is one of the best in Qatars petrochemical industry, and I
want to start my career with solid foundations as I know that it is the key to a
successful career. I have been impressed when I heard these things about the
company, so I decided that I must earn a place in your company to evolve the great
person inside me.
I have had a previous internship with the upstream company (RasGas), and Ive
gained some experience with office work and contract arrangements, during which I
visited the companys factory in Ras Laffan and had to review a couple of contracts
and make sure that it meets the requirements imposed by RasGas. This internship
lasted for a month in which I spent 76 hours working in RasGas HQ in Dafna and 20
hours spent in Ras Laffan industrial area. Recently I went to workshops for
programming which is part of 21st-century engineering. The courses were: MATLAB,
Python, and C programming. The program lasted for a week of intense learning and
hard working. In the other hand, I have done some research about different
industrial applications for solar energy under the supervision of Dr. Konstantinos, a
chemical engineering professor. The research has been focused on the usage of
Qatar resource of natural rocks to produce electrical energy. The mentioned
experiences built my persona and my technical knowledge to what I have now;
these skills will aid me to add to your companys glamorous prestige.
Please refer to the attached CV for brief view on my different skills and education. I
am eager to hear from you. Feel free to contact me at +974 333 22 485 or email me
at rashid.al-heidous@qatar.tamu.edu. I appreciate your consideration for my
application.

Sincerely,
Rashid Al-Heidous.
