Dear Parents,

Hello my name is Miss Brandi Wallace and I will be your child’s second grade
teacher. This year we are trying new programs here at Mt. Orab Elementary. One of
those new programs is called looping. Looping means that your child will have the same
teacher for second and third grades. I happen to be one of the teachers in the looping
program so I will have the privilege of teaching your children for two consecutive years.
If you do not like the idea of this program, or if your child is experiencing difficulties in
the second grade, you will have the option of opting out of this program at the end of the
school year.

A little bit about myself, I was born and raised in Mt. Orab where my family still
lives today. I graduated from Western Brown Schools in 2000 and the University of
Cincinnati in 2009. This is my first year teaching, but I was a substitute in this district
last year so I am very familiar with the procedures and policies here at Western Brown. I
am very excited to finally have a classroom of my own, and hope to make your child’s
learning experience a fun and positive one.
