Sizes, colours and counting all in one

Soffiya, today we had a maths activity set up on one of our activity tables.
The aim of this game is to match bears according to its colour and sizes
on the card. Sana was having a go when you came to the table to have a
look at what was happening. You were carefully watching how he played
the game and in no time you were on your way to helping him pick the
right colour and size bears. A while later, Sana finished his turn at the
game and when asking if you would like to have a turn, you said yes with
a big smile. You collected the bears and started matching it on the card.
You had lots of fun learning, telling your peers around you about sizes and
colours of the bear and at one point, you were counting the number of
bears on the card, well done, Soffiya.
Soffiya, you have embraced a math concept involving numbers,
sizes and colours. While you were having fun playing alongside
your friends, you were learning maths skills such as grouping,
one to one matching and counting. You showed great focus,
engagement and perseverance to reach your goal, mashaAllah!

Soffiya, perhaps next time you might like to choose one of our
other games to play involving different math concepts where you
can extend your number knowledge and learn to add groups of
numbers.
