    ‘Be the best you can be’

    Dear Parents, Governors and Children,

    OUR NEXT HOLIDAY


    Our next holiday will be half-term, and we close at 3.30 p.m. on Friday 28th May and reopen
    again at 8.45 a.m. on Monday 7th June. There are NO training days attached to this holiday.
    Our final training day is Friday 2nd July.

    WELL DONE
    Well Done to Owen Fromont, who has achieved his ‘Minnow’ certificate in swimming.
    Well Done to Cleo Buck for completing her PGL Adventure Course.

    RECEPTION CHILDREN TO YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK


    The Reception children are looking forward to visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Thursday 20th
    May. Please make sure your child has returned their consent form to the class teacher.

    SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE DROP-IN SESSION


    South Yorkshire Police are holding a drop-in session in school at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday 20th May. If
    you have any concerns you would like to raise with them, please come along and discuss them. The
    Year 6 children will also have the opportunity of raising concerns with the Police prior to the
    parents forum.

    PARENTS MEETING FOR HATFIELD WATER PARK


    Another meeting has been arranged for 5.15pm on Wednesday 19th May. It would be most
    helpful if parents could to come this meeting without their child attending. We know this is often
    difficult, so to try and make it a little easier we have organised a special ‘Film Club’ evening for the
    children in Year 5 going to Hatfield This will start at 3.35 and finish at 5.35. There is no charge
    for the event and refreshments will be provided free of charge as an incentive to get you to come
    along to the meeting. It is hoped that your child will stay for film club and that you will come along
    20 minutes before the end. This way you can attend the meeting and then collect your child as you
    leave.

    GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS
    The school photographer is coming on Wednesday 19th May to take the class photographs, so your
    child can have a memento of their time in their current class. Please try and ensure your child is
    wearing their school uniform on this day. An order form will be sent home when the photographs
    are ready, hopefully before half term.
