Memorandum of Agreement
This agreement is executed and entered into this 25th day of January 2011, at Manila, Philippines, by and
between:
The Barangay Salawag a barangay agency represented by Barangay Chairman Enrico S.
Paredes of legal age with office address at the Salawag Dasmarias Cavite herein referred to
as the First Party;
- and The Technological University of the Philippines an institution of higher learning duly organized
under and by the virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with business address at
Ayala Blvd., Ermita, Manila represented by its Director, Florida C. Labuguen, hereafter referred
to as the Second Party.
WITNESSETH
A Life Construction through Community Cooperation Program of the University Extension Office and NSTPCWTS Students.
Whereas, to give service of the University Extension Office and Civic Welfare and Training Service for the
Barangay constituents, the 1st party will provide the venue, materials and security to the student trainees while the
latter will conduct their activities in coordination with the Barangay officials.
Now therefore: for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties hereby agree as follows:
First Party and Second Party
Shall cooperatively secure students in the conduct of Extension Service and Civic Welfare and

Training Service at the Barangay Salawag.
Shall jointly plan for the activity at the Life Construction through Community Cooperation Project

Shall conduct extension project with the cooperation of the Barangay Constituents

Shall jointly monitor and evaluate the activity

Shall provide the venue for the Extension Project and Civic Welfare and Training Service
Shall provide cleaning materials and other materials for the community training and activities
Shall provide a security for the students and Lecturer during the implementation of the project.

Shall provide manpower to include trainers and facilitators for the cleaning and tree planting of the
Barangay areas and other related activities.
Shall carry out monitoring and evaluation of the project in the service area.
Shall submit reports to the first party regarding the outcome of the activity.

This agreement shall cover the period of one month (1) from January 30, 2011 to February 19, 2011 and
unless sooner terminated by any parties herein for any cause, provided that a 15 day of notice prior to the intention
to terminate shall serve upon the other party.
In witness whereof, the parties hereby affix their signatures, this 29 day of January 2011 at the Barangay
Hall Salawag

Republic Act 9163 effective year 2002 provided the guidelines for the community projects that students of NSTPCWTS are required to undertake to finish the collegiate course and be integrated in National Reserve Corps.
Pursuant to this, allow us to send students of the University to discuss with you any related project in cooperation
with your Barangay, specifically a community service, such as clean-up drive, feeding program, gift giving, seminars
and etc.
