HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

On Monday, June 28, 2010, at 1:12 a.m., Huntersville Police responded to a report of an
armed robbery that had occurred near the 15000 block of Statesville Road. Upon arrival, officers met
with an employee of Dominos Pizza who advised that she had been robbed at gunpoint by an
unknown assailant after stopping on the side of the road due to car trouble. According to the
employee, the suspect approached her from behind and placed what was believed to be a pistol to
her neck. The suspect then ordered the victim to drive to a location in Cornelius. Upon arrival at the
Cornelius location, the suspect grabbed a box from the front passenger seat. The box contained
three bank deposit bags with an unknown amount of currency. The armed suspect was described as
a white male, and was last seen wearing a black in color, hooded sweatshirt. There have been no
arrests made at this time. The Huntersville Police Department is currently investigating this crime.
