One sample T test is used to verify a claim.

It compares the population mean (given) with the


sample mean. And see if there is a significant difference between the means. The sample should be
representative sample.

If you have more than two groups you have to use One Way Anova. E.g.: the salary variation among
students according to the specialization that they take. Null hypothesis is always that“ there is no
significant difference”.

Dependent Sample T Test or paired T Test or Repeated demonstration T test: In a population we


take sample at different interval.
If the sig column value is more than the significance level (100-confidence level) then there is no
significance.

Co variance: cause and effect relation. E.g.: advertisement watched and product brought.

There is a relation between two variables it is directional use on tailed test else two tailed test.

Bi variant test is used for co relation between two variables.

Partial co relation: when there is a relation between two or more variable and their relationship with
another extra independent variable.
