Planning

By Brooke Burton
Initial Ideas
• This was my first initial Idea. I just
drew a few sketches. For this idea I
think I would do whiteboard animation
because I would need to draw my
idea’s thin make them move around
and talk, but i can’t it out of paper or
clay because that would be to hard.
• But my idea came from us sticking too
words together and drawing it. So it
came out with some weird things.
Initial Ideas
• This planning was when we had to choose a
word and draw pictures of this that did this
word. I choose bounce, which was a easy
one because many things bounce.
• For the bottom right hand corner picture, I
would drew it, and just make the ball go
round and round. And in the top hand corner
I would do it on white board.
Initial Ideas
• This is my bouncing title.
Initial Ideas

This is one of my Initial idea. Because I

had the word bounce so I picked
springs. I think I would have to do
this as a white board animation,
because it’s a hard thing to chop
and change, It has to bounce. I can’t
do clay animation because it would
be too hard to do.
Schedule
We made a time schedule. A week by week plan to get an idea of how long we
needed to spend time on that piece of work. I kept to the time schedule quite
well, but I didn’t keep to it on my final animation because it took a far bit of time
to make the characters.
Storyboards
• This was my for my final piece, I
drew it on a white board so I could
just rub out my mistakes. When I
did this story boards, I didn’t think
this was final piece, it’s a rough
copy, but then I did keep it.
Models/ Characters
• This is my main character the
chocolate man. He the one that’s
melts first and works well.
What changes did I make from the
original plans?
• I didn’t change my idea. I started with the same storyboard and ended with the
same story board. I didn’t change it because the animation I did (Clay
Animation) it worked well with the melting techniques because it made it look
realistic. One problem I had with my animation was the lolly because the top
half was heavier then the bottom part that made it unstable so I had pencil for
the stick and wrapped it in clay to make it steady.

This is one of my
melting Shots.
