It is the intent of the Board of Trustees of Minidoka County Joint School District No. 331 to
allow information relative to student activities and school to be distributed and/or posted.

Guidelines

The following guidelines are delineated:

1. All information generated outside of the district or any schools for distribution to
students, parents, and patrons or to be posted in school buildings must be approved by the
Superintendent, or designee, and marked with the official stamp.

2. Materials which promote private gain of any individual or commercial firm or which
advertises any product or private fund raising projects shall not be distributed to students.
Verification of non-profit status is required for approval. The only exception will be for
school-sponsored fundraisers that have been approved by a building principal.

3. Materials which disseminate information relative to any religious or political group shall
not be distributed to school students or posted for religious or political purposes.

4. After the materials have been approved and stamped, they may be distributed and/or
posted. The building principal will be responsible for dissemination of the materials in
the individual schools.
