Dear David,

Thanks so much for your letter. It was really great to hear from you. Sorry not to have written for so
long. I’ve been really busy lately. I had a lot of things to do for school. Life in the tenth grade is terribly
difficult. Though I’d better write to let you know…

At the beginning of the school year I was very surprised when I realized that our art teacher left. In his
place came a very young lady. She has inspired us the love for photography. Within days of her arrival I
took some great pictures. I sought a more efficient photo camera to overcome my own level. I wanted
to become a professional photographer. Then, one day, I saw it. One of Nikon's quiet successes which
continues to sell and often makes its way into our top 10 most clicked on cameras. I was fascinated and
that’s why I decided to sell out my old camera.

You said in your letter that you were thinking on selling your mp4 player on an auction site. I want to
know if you managed to sell it because I had serious problems with such a site. I wrote a long,
persuasive ad in which I described my old toy and I waited. There have been passed a few weeks until I
received an answer. In my inbox was an e-mail with a huge bill that I’d have to pay because my ad had
occupied a large memory for a very long time. I complained to the website, but what they said was that
I must pay it if I don’t want the law to punish me and that I should have read the site rules. I managed
to pay that amount of money but my parents forbade me to even try to sell something on the Internet. I
promised myself never to repeat this mistake s o I suggest you to be careful where you sell your
items.

I didn’t give up my passion for photography so my parents bought me the camera that I was dreaming
at. Now I am fully satisfied. I can put together business with pleasure, the high school with the
photography. Why don’t we try to get together some time soon to show you my new jewel?

Can’t wait to see you again…

Andrew
