PRESENTE SIMPLE

AFIRMATIVA: SUJETO + VERBO EN PRESENTE + COMPLEMENTOS.

CON EL SUJETO "SHE", "HE", "IT" EL VERBO ACABA EN "S".


I play football.
She eats pizza.
We drink orange juice.

NEGATIVA: SUJETO + DON´T / DOESN´T + VERBO EN PRESENTE +


COMPLEMENTOS
CON LOS SUJETOS "HE", "SHE"," IT" SE USA DOESN´T Y YA NO LE PONEMOS
LA "S" AL VERBO.
I don´t play football.
She doesn´t eat pizza.
We don´t drink orange juice.

INTERROGATIVA: DO/DOES + SUJETO + VERBO EN PRESENTE +


COMPLEMENTOS ?
OJO: CON LOS SUJETOS "HE ", "SHE", "IT" SE USA DOES Y YA NO LE PONEMOS
LA "S" AL VERBO.

Does she eat pizza? Yes, she does / No, she doesn´t
Do you drink orange juice ? Yes, you do / No, you don´t.

- Yo juego a hockey todos los dias = I play hockey everyday


- El siempre come pizza = He always eats pizza
- Ella no baila tango = She doesn’t dance tango.
- Beben ellos agua? = Do they drink water?

El presente simple utiliza palabras como ALWAYS, SOMETIMES, NEVER, OFTEN... es


una pista que te ayudará en los ejercicios, así sabes que es Pr. SIMPLE.
PRESENTE CONTINUO

AFIRMATIVA: SUJETO + AM/IS/ARE ( Dependiendo del sujeto) + VERBO EN


PRESENTE ACABADO EN -ING + COMPLEMENTOS.
I am playing tennis.
She is drinking a glass of wine.
They are studying English.

NEGATIVA: SUJETO + AM NOT / IS NOT (ISN´T) / ARE NOT ( AREN´T) +


VERBO EN PRESENTE ACABADO EN - ING + COMPLEMENTOS
I am not playing tennis.
She isn´t drinking a glass of wine.
They aren´t studying English.

INTERROGATIVA: AM /IS/ ARE + SUJETO + VERBO ACABADO EN -ING +


COMPLEMENTOS ?
Are you playing tennis? Yes, I am / No, I am not.
Is she drinking a glass of wine? Yes, She is / No, She isn´t.
Are they studying English? Yes, They are / No, they aren´t.

- Tu estás comiendo pizza = You are eating pizza


- Ella está escribiendo una carta = She is writting a letter.
- Yo no estoy leyendo un libro = I am not reading a book.
- Él no está jugando a tennis = He isn’t playing tennis.
- Están navegando? = Are they sailing?
- Está ella cantado? = Is she singing?

Recuerda la trampa del LIKE y LOVE:

I like dancing no es presente contínuo es SIMPLE porque despies de LOVE y


LIKE se pone ing.
PASADO SIMPLE

AFIRMATIVA: SUJETO + VERBO EN PASADO (2ª COLUMNA) + COMPLEMENTOS.

I played football yesterday.


She ate pizza.
We drank orange juice last summer.

NEGATIVA: SUJETO + DIDN’T + VERBO EN INFINITIVO + COMPLEMENTOS

I didn´t play football.


She didn´t eat pizza.
We didn´t drink orange juice.

INTERROGATIVA: DID + SUJETO + VERBO EN INFINITIVO + COMPLEMENTOS

Did you play football yesterday? Yes, I did / No, I didn’t


Did she eat pizza last week? Yes, she did / No, she didn´t
Did you drink orange juice last Saturday? Yes, you did/ No, you didn´t.

- Ella rompió la lámpara el año pasado = She broke the lamp last year.
- Nosotros fuimos al colegio ayer = We went to the school yesterday.
- No vieron la tv ayer = They didn’ watch tv yesterday.
- Fuí a Londres el verano pasado? = Did I go to London last summer?

En el pasado simple y también en el continuo podemos usar palabras como


YESTERDAY, LAST YEAR, LAST SUMMER, LAST WEEK, LAST MONTH,
LAST MONDAY… paa indicar que es pasado.
PASADO CONTINUO

AFIRMATIVA: SUJETO + WAS/WERE ( Dependiendo del sujeto) + VERBO EN


PRESENTE ACABADO EN -ING + COMPLEMENTOS.
I was playing tennis.
She was drinking a glass of wine.
They were studying English.

NEGATIVA: SUJETO + WASN´T / WEREN´T + VERBO EN PRESENTE


ACABADO EN - ING + COMPLEMENTOS
I was not playing tennis.
She wasn´t drinking a glass of wine.
They weren´t studying English.

INTERROGATIVA: WAS/ WERE + SUJETO + VERBO ACABADO EN -ING +


COMPLEMENTOS ?
Were you playing tennis? Yes, I was / No, I wasn’t.
Was she drinking a glass of wine? Yes, She was / No, She wasn´t.
Were they studying English? Yes, They were / No, they weren´t.

- Ellos estuvieron viendo la TV ayer = They were watching tv yesterday


- Él estuvo volando el lunes pasado = He was flying last Monday.
- Yo no estuve leyendo un libro= I wasn’t reading a book.
- Estuvimos durmiendo?= Were we sleeping?
- Estuvo ella bailando? = Was she dancing?

Recuerda lo mismo que en el presente continuo las trampas de LOVE y LIKE.

En los CONTINUOS siempre se pone el verbo con ING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ING = ANDO o ENDO (cantando, leyendo)
