The document outlines the rules for a singles match play golf competition called the Mann Cup. It states that players are responsible for contacting each other to schedule matches within the prescribed timeframe or they may be removed from the competition. Extensions will normally only be granted for one week at the committee's discretion. Matches will be played over 18 holes and decided by extra holes or replay if tied, or by card cut or coin toss if others are not possible within the stated timescale. Stroke handicaps will be the full difference up to a maximum of 18 strokes and taken from the white tees. The finals will be held on September 4th.

1. There are no challengers. It is the responsibility of both players to contact one another for a mutually agreeable date to play tie. Failure to do so could lead to both players being removed from the competition if it is not played within the prescribed time. 2. Extensions will only be granted in exceptional situations and will normally be for one week only. Decisions made will be at the sole discretion of the Committee. 3. Matches to be played over 18 holes. In the event of a match being all square after 18 holes, by agreement between the players the tie should be settled either by extra holes (over three holes and then sudden death) or by replay, but only if the tie can be replayed within the stated timescale for the round. If neither extra holes nor replay are possible then the tie should be settled by a cut of cards or coin toss. 4. Stroke allowance to be calculated at full difference, up to a maximum difference of 18. In the event of extra holes being played strokes should be taken as per the card. 5. Play will be from the white medal tee markers (not stones) at all times.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FINALS DAY IS SUNDAY 4th SEPTEMBER
