are eliminated on each hole until there are only three teams left. Out
of those three teams, we will award a “Win” (1st Place), “Place” (2nd
Place), and a “Show” (3rd Place). Serious golfers must leave their
sensitive side at home for this event, we like to have fun.

RESIDENT PROFILE
Magda and Allan Brown
“there are so many great activities at Sun City Festival...”

Magda and Allan moved to Sun City Festival in November 2008 from Rye, New York which is located
about 30 miles northeast of New York City. Magda worked in New York City her entire career as an
Instrumentation and Controls engineer. She designed control systems for power generating plants built
in the U.S. as well as Spain, China and the Philippines. Allan also worked in New York City for most of his
career in the magazine publishing industry. He was the National Advertising Director/Associate Publisher
in the high tech trade publications industry. He finished up his career working in Connecticut right before retirement.

Magda grew up in Cluj, Romania and came to the US with her family at age 21. She finished college in New York City by graduating with
a mechanical engineering degree from Cooper Union. Allan grew up in Bradley Beach, New Jersey and earned a Business Management
Degree and MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. They met in the early 70s during a singles weekend in the
Catskill Mountains in New York State. They have a married son living in Venice Beach, California which was part of the reason they chose
Arizona for their retirement.

In the last few years before retirement, they visited retirement communities wherever they vacationed so by the time they visited Festival,
they knew what they wanted and didn’t want in their new home. Festival had everything they were looking for and so much more. They
bought their home on the first day of their visit to Festival and have never looked back.

Magda is very active with pottery and social dancing and is on the board of both Clubs. Allan is very much into pickleball and is on the
board of both the Hiking Club and Barrel Buddies. They both agree “there are so many great activities at Sun City Festival that it’s hard to
decide what to do every day.” They are both Resident Ambassadors communicating their love for the community with prospective buyers.

Magda and Allan both love traveling, eating out and exploring the wonderful state of Arizona. They said the best part of Festival,
besides the unbelievable Del Webb lifestyle are the many new friends they have met.
