Praying for Payday (Loans)

The bills arrive,
The checks are short,
The kids are hungry,
The parents are broke.

The car won’t start,

It’s out of gas,
The tire is flat,
The window is cracked.

Payday loans are here to help,

Just sign the line,
Here’s your cash,
But you better pay it back!

Months go by,
They forgot to pay,
Now the checks are in,
But can’t cover the rent.

Back they go,

To Payday Loans,
From little to big,
Their debt has grown.

The interest is high,

Higher than sin,
They should’ve paid it back,
But now its too late.

The rate is great,

The rate is vast,
The rate is huge,
The rate is death.

Now they run,

To hide their debt,
To feed their kids,
To struggle just to live!
