Jesus Time
The Bible tells us that God made the world and everything in it with His Almighty power. Genesis 1:1 God created (made out of nothing) the heavens and the earth. We can be thankful that God gave us the world to use. We can praise God for His love and power and show Him thanks by caring for the world He made.
Language
This week we will work on our routines and continue our reading adventures with the Zoophonics characters allie alligator and bubba bear. This week we will: Talk about the parts of a book Learn and review the shapes and names of allie and bubba Focus on the /a/ and / b/ sound Explore literature and ask/answer comprehension questions Learn how to use the reading materials in the center
Math
This week we will:
Focus on the numerals 1 through 4 and what they represent See how the numerals can help us learn about other math concepts (telling time, length, height, some more, and some went away). Learn how to use the math materials in the math center
Music
Songs: Beginning of the year guidelines. Sing old and new songs. Practice song for singing in church and at the Fall Musical. Concepts: Listen for High and Low tones Who wrote the William Tell
