David Bergen is a renowned IT professional with vast experience in IT system development and implementation. He possesses significant experience supervising IT growth and improvement at many recognized retail and technology companies like The Gap, Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., and Esprit Holdings Limited.

Before achieving his present position as a Managing Director of the Alvarez & Marsal business consultancy, he served Levi Strauss & Co, for eight years and contributed to business revenue growth by two billion dollars via expansion into various new distribution channels. As a Global CIO and Senior Vice President at Levi Strauss & Co, he led the companys IT capacities, implementing SAP at global level, integrating the retail platforms and creating new ecommerce networks.

David Bergen also has extensive experience working with new generation of IT leaders at the Santa Clara Universitys Dorothy and Thomas Leavey School of Business. He worked with Esprit Holdings Limited for 4 years and led firms IT operations and launched highly operational retail management and wholesale manufacturing systems, which helped the firm streamline distribution, order processing and various other functions.
