Working of Ball Pen

Biro invent ballpoint pen. The basic idea to
make a ballpoint pen is to use an ink that flows
smoothly and faster drying.

In ball pen a special ink is used that gets

dry immediately after writing. Fluid ink is filled
in the riffle. One end of the riffle is open and
on the other end of the riffle a ball bearing is
attached.

Ball Pen
 Air pressure on the open end forces the ink
to flows down and on the other end, the ball
comes in contact with the ball and paste ink on
the paper. Pen works on the paper on the
principal of FRICTION.

The advantage of the ballpoint pen is this

that you can write on any type of surface and
the ink is water proof and no erasable and
ballpoint pen is much easier to use than
fountain pen
