    HB346 (OBannon) allows nurse practitioners to practice as part of patient care teams where a physician licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth provides management and leadership. Farm Bureau is supporting the legislation per our policy to support the practice of nurse practitioners under the off-site supervision of a physician. The bill is seen as a large compromise between physicians and nurse practitioners and has already passed the House.
