Map of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Mehsana District

It was surveyed in 1967-68 by Survey Of India

Toposheet no. is 46 A /12 Scale of map 1: 50,000

And the contour interval is 20m

Procedure for Digitization :

First convert the *.jpeg file into *.TIFF format in Paint

program Then Geo-referencing the image Derive the four non-collinear ground control points Create a shape file Select the type based on the entity Add the attributes Once created, it will appear as a layer Start marking the areas, lines & polygons and enter the attributes
