Cane Toad
It originally came from Central and South America It was brought their to eat the cane beetle It was brought to Florida and Hawaii

Mongoose
A species brought to the U.S. from India It was brought here to control the amount of rats and snakes away from sugar cane fields They were brought to Hawaii

Hogweed
It came here from Asia It was brought here as a ornamental plant It is currently in the great lakes

Cane toad Issues

Its purpose was to eliminate the cane beetle It failed because cane beetle came out at night cane toad was out during the day All it did was eat animals that were convenient to the food cycle eliminating some food for many predators

Mongoose Issues
The mongoose was brought here to limit the amount of snakes and rats who came into a farmers garden They did do this and it was beneficial However the mongoose vandalized farmers territory

Hogweed Issues
It was brought to America because of its appearance It is bad because it can cause phytophotodermatitis It can also cause severe sunburn

Invasive Species
If you find a one of these species u should kill it or de-root it (depending whether its a plant or an animal) Or report it to the government
