OBJECTIVE
To identify our blood cells. To identify the types of leukocytes our blood. To compare between the erythrocytes and leukocytes.

The material used:


Ethanol 70% - For sterile the finger and the material used. Giemsa solution -fot stanning the blood cell in the slide

INFORMATION
The most numerous blood cells (5-6 million per cubic) Size about 7-8 m in a diameter Erythrocytes production occurs in the bone marrow Life span is 120 days Destroyed in liver and spleen Function: carry respiratory gaseous.

EXPERIMENT Biconcave shape (thinner in the center than at its edges) Lack nuclei and organelles

INFORMATION Their function is to fight infection in various way Divided into two groups: Agronolocytes Granulocytes OBSERVATION Have no fixed shape Bigger than red blood cell Less numerous blood cell Can see 8 leukocytes by using 40X magnification The type of leukocytes that can be seen are neutrophils,monocytes, basophils,lymphocytes, eusinophils
