Adobe connect session with case study PowerPoint lesson for distance students. Wound healing theory and management in course notes could be improved with images and clearer simplified information.

Activities TED-ed lesson and quiz. Posting a monthly featured dressing or wound healing method eg intrasite and allevyn, manuka honey on moodle forum. Stimulating group discussion on each. Facilitator feedback. Adobe connect session for wound management and dressing decisions. Annual prize for the best wound photo and management report.

Communication Discussions in class/at block course on wounds they have seen on placement or even wounds they have had themselves. Stories of wound disasters from practice Regular posts on the moodle forum to encourage group discussion of their own experiences.

Treat animal wounds according to instruction. 2.1 Wound is kept as aseptic as possible, and cleaned and flushed as directed by the veterinarian. 2.2 Dressings and bandages are applied in a manner which is neat, comfortable, and supportive for the

patient, and as directed by the veterinarian.
