3 Plate 1 way Switch. This was using 2.5mm twin core and earthed.

The earth cable was not covered, so I had to use sheathing to cover it separately. I ran the cable from the consumer unit to the light. Connected the earth to the Earthed point. I then connected the Neutral to the Neutral point on the light junction. Then I connected the live wire to the first of the middle loop connections. I then fixed my switch to the wall, ran cable from the switch up to the light fitting. The Earth is earthed to the required points. The live wire goes from the Common on the switch to the middle loop (the feed). The neutral wire acts as a second live from the link on the switch to the live on the light terminal. To make this safe, I have to Cover each end of the blue neutral wire with brown electrical tape. This will help identify when testing for continuity.
