Dad, my I can help you Mario!
teacher wants us to But first, we need the
following materials.
build a circuit, but I
don't know what to

Both wires
are attached to
the bulb.

When the bulb

light, the path of
electricity is complete.
Electricity flows from the
negative to the positive
terminal of the dry cell.
This is called
CLOSED CIRCUIT.
When electricity
does not flow there is
a gap or no complete path
from one of the circuit to
other end, this kind of circuit
is called
OPEN CIRCUIT.
You're
welcome
Mario!

Thank you
very much,
Daddy!

CLOSED
CIRCUIT
CLOSED CIRCUIT
In a closed circuit the electrical wires are attached to the
positive and negative end of the battery. The wires connected
to the battery are connected to the bulb and switch. The path
of electricity is complete in a closed circuit allowing electricity
to
flow through it and makes the
bulb light up. Electricity flows
from the negative to the positive
terminal of the dry cell.
OPEN CIRCUIT
The second type of circuit is an open
circuit. In this kind of circuit,
electricity does not flow because
there is a gap or no complete path
from one end to the other end of the
circuit. The bulb will not light up.
SWITCH
To turn on the light bulb, push the switch to
on to connect the wires from the battery to
the wires of the light bulb. This process is
also called a closed circuit. Whereas,
pushing the switch to off, it then disconnects
one end of the battery to the other end of the
light bulb, this is now called an open circuit.
