Statement of Purpose I am presently working as an Associate Manager with Accenture Services Pvt.

Ltd (Global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company) from more than three years. I have total work experience of 10+ years in the field of business requirement analysis, design and application management and development in Microsoft/Sun Technologies . have done my Masters Degree in Computer Science from MDU, Rohtak and graduated in B.Com (Honours) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University. I have being across the globe to countries like USA, Canada, UK, Scotland and Saudi Arabia as a Team Lead and developer for onsite projects. While the highly diverse nature of assignments has given me tremendous exposure to global technical practices, it has also helped me acquire broad exposure to Hospitality & Insurance Industry. I feel that being a technocrat is insufficient in todays industry and acute business acumen is required along with technical expertise. As my career progresses in the managerial cadre, I see myself diversify into business management and consulting, specifically in the areas of Pre sales and Project management. Therefore I need a thorough understanding of management concepts, interpret the synergies involved between different cross-functional areas and business entities. In order to acquire deeper insights in this regard and become more skilled in the area of management, my aspiration of taking up a business study program becomes imperative. XLRI, Jamshedpur being an outstanding school in the area of business management would be an ideal choice to pursue a program in this area. Its diversity in teaching aids and pedagogy is highly acclaimed. The eminent faculty and the individualized nature of the program will definitely bring out the best in me, strengthen my managerial skills and motivate me in taking up higher business responsibilities in future.
