Why should I be so surprised? You have always been so faithful, generous, and loving. Every time I ask you to make special visits or give a little more, or do something extra you have gladly responded. Almost 500 gift bags were delivered these past two weeks. We are now receiving responses from people you contacted. I met two families last Sunday who came because one of you invited them. You know as well as I, that healthy churches can never be built with loose change, spare time or by playing it safe. Thanks for blessing my heart again. What a tremendous start to our Sunday night Discipleship Ministry. There were over 400 involved. I was especially pleased with so many young adults who came and included their children in choirs. Children learn so much more than music. They become better followers of Christ. When you are tempted to stay at home, on Sunday afternoon, remember these are moldable moments for children that will never come again. Use it wisely. All of our Sunday School classes teach the Bible. Some Sunday the class may chase rabbits, but Gods Word is central. And why shouldnt it be? One physician said it this way. I spent twenty two thousand dollars on shrinks and found my help in a ten-dollar Bible. A Bible that is falling apart, usually belongs to a person whose life is staying together. Eastmonts next Membership Discovery Class is August 26. I could use your help with promoting it in your Sunday School class. When you offer to accompany someone to the class, the results are even greater. Ill See you Sunday,
