December 1, 2013 First Sunday of Advent

The Advent season is a time to celebrate that our God came, is coming, and will come again. As we travel the road to Christmas, there are many ways to celebrate this time of anticipation. This Advent resource encourages individuals, families, and faith communities to participate in this tradition with a twist. Celebrate through acts of mercy. This year Advent begins on Dec. 1st and there is a special devotional book to lead your family through the Advent Season. As our Gift to you, the church has provided one devotional book per family. You may pick up your family devotional book in the foyer TODAY. A Calendar has also been provided with a list of Acts of Mercy & Compassion for you to use throughout the season. Please see the Advent display in the foyer. Join us during Advent as we will celebrate Christs arrival together.
