SPOTLIGHT Walk to school Week Thank you to all of those children who took part in our Green Miles Walk to School Week which is run by Manchester city council. The children have now received their certificates and badges so well done to them for their efforts. After School Club Please could you remember to let the office know if you have booked your child into After School Club but then decide to collect them from school as staff get concerned if children do not arrive in After School Club as expected. Thank you. Changes to details Please could you ensure that you inform the office of any changes to your emergency contact details, address or your childs medical conditions and please ensure that if your child is asthmatic they have their named inhaler in school with a spacer if required as the temperature is now dropping and this can trigger some childrens asthma. Winter clothing We still have some children coming into school without appropriate cold/wet weather clothing. Please could you ensure that your child brings a warm winter coat with into school with them everyday, preferably one with a hood, but if they do not have a hood please could they have a hat with them instead. Please also ensure that PE kits have leggings, or jogging bottoms which are fitted at the bottom, as well as a sweat shirt or jumper to keep them warm during outdoor games.
