100% of the people asked said that they would be attracted to the cover of the magazine from just one look, this proves that it is eye catching from the colours, text layout and images used.

2) Does the title Listen give the right impression of a pop music magazine?

No

Yes 0 2 4 6 8 10

This shows that most of the people questioned did feel that the title gave the right impression, however one did say no because they felt although it linked to the idea of it being about music, it did not relate to the fact it was pop music or display the genre in anyway.

3) Is the colour scheme on the front cover associated with the pop genre?

3 Yes No* 7

*More blues and boyish colours should be added as it is supposed to suit both genders

From this I can see that although the colours I used were felt suitable by most of those asked there was a over who disagreed by saying that they felt the magazine colours were too female orientated and needed more darker/ stereotypically male one too.

4) The sell lines are all relative to the target audience/reader of the magazine

1 1 Yes Some No 8

From this you can tell that most of the sell lines are appealing and seen as relative to the audience. This could have been because they did not sound of any interest to the viewer so would not have wanted to read them, or the fact of how they were written was too simple and not catchy enough.

5) Which page do you find the most interesting?

6 5 4 3 2 1 0 Front Cover Contents Page Double Page Spread

From this you can tell that that the double page spread and the front over are seen as the most popular and interesting pages. However the amount of people who chose the contents page as their favourite is quite low which gives the impression that the pages are not equally appealing.

6) Is the layout of the content page aesthetically pleasing?

3 Yes No* 7

*The layout should be more casual and scattered rather than so structured and square

Here we can see that the contents page is seen as being too structured and aligned rather than being more fun and with and interesting shape or layout to add to the appearance.

7) The images on the contents page are useful to give a visual description of the text
