HSE INSTRUCTION FOR SHOP FLOOR EMPLOYEES

GENERAL HSE INSTRUCTION: 1- Wear suitable PPE items at all time (Safety Shoes, gloves, goggles, helmet, etc.) 2- Keep wok area clean / Keep workshop clean. 3- Remove unnecessary tools from your station 4- Only trained persons are allowed to use existing machinery, each as per his specialty. 5- Do not get near any product during unloading (raising) operation and keep a distance of at least 10 mts. Away. 6- Do not stand under raised products at any time and under any circumstances. You should use stand at all time. 7- Do not get near hydraulic moving parts / jack, hoses, valves during operation, only trained personnel can operate, and supervise Hydraulic equipment. 8- Keep out flammable materials away and use fire extinguisher / blankets where suitable. 9- Use safety bracket for (tipping trailer, tipper body) and do not enter inside the trailer for any reason without safety bracket. 10- Do not enter under forklift. 11- Make sure the pressure (oxygen, acetylene, argon) bottles is within limits 12- Make sure there is no leak from the hoses of gas welding during welding and in close condition. 13- Use safety basket for going up by forklift 14- Make sure nobody standing in front of oxygen-acetylene welding fire frame. 15- Use the proper mask during painting 16- Do not mixes paint in area having flammable material 17- Do not smoke 18- Store the paint in a proper and isolate area 19- Use the proper lamp (explosion proof) during painting 20- Make sure air connected to the mask when blasting 21- Be familiar with your surroundings which include all local emergency procedure details, first aiders, fire extinguisher. 22- Report all incidents and near miss to your immediately supervisor. 23- All Employees must follow Safety and Environment Rules and Regulations. 24- Smoking and the burning of incense is not permitted within the Shop Floor. 25- Be sure that you know how to do the job, as well as what to do. 26- Look over each new assignment to determine the possible hazards.

27- Report all unusual incidents or rear misses that could cause an injury if reported. 28- Familiarize yourself with means of escape. 29- Provide yourself with suitable safety means before working on elevated places. 30- Give assistance to new employees. 31- Put on your safety cap & safety boot before attending on the rig. 32- Use eye and face protection where there is danger from flying objects or particles, such as when grinding, chipping, burning and welding, etc. 33- Dress properly. Wear appropriate work clothes, gloves, and shoes or boots. Loose clothing and jewelry should not be born. 34- Properly care for and be responsible for all personal protective equipment. 35- Maintain housekeeping as good as possible. Keep places of work and surroundings clean. Keep the uses stuffs in their proper places. Walkways will keep clear at all times. 36- Do not leave materials in aisles, walkways, stairways, roads or other points of egress. 37- Practice good housekeeping at all times. 38- Do not stand or sit on sides of moving equipment. 39- Report unsafe conditions to your immediate supervisor. 40- Promptly report all injuries to your immediate supervisor. 41- If you got injured hopping not you have to notify your direct boss and make sure that the physician had recorded it in the clinic record. Moreover, the area managers must informed to fill ALAM STEEL accident investigation form even if it seemed to be minor. 42- The company offers an exceptional medical care for the employees on her own expense. Some of them may need to be transferred to either a special hospital or a specific specialist .It is a must to follow-up the case coping with the company physician to receive his instructions concerning the leaves even if the case was a job related injury. Any contradiction for the above mentioned statement will deserve a penalty. 43- Do not rush and disregard safety when quitting work or at shift change. The pain to you and the inconvenience to the company are the same whenever you are injured. Continue to apply safety principles in all your activities.

44- Never operate any machine unless all guards and safety devices are in place and in proper operating condition. 45- Do not operate machinery if you are not authorized to do so.

46- Prohibited smoking on rig floor, around engines and around storage tanks. 47- Be alert, do not stand in hazardous areas or positions and keep out from under over head load. 48- Use good common sense to determine the safest way to carry out your duties. When in doubt, ask. 49- Never take chances, work in a safe manner. This will prove to be the fastest and most efficient way of carrying out your duties. 50- Advise your area manager of those individuals who have no regard for the safety of others. 51- Advice your area manager of any defect or deteriorated tool or part, which you may notice at rig location. 52- Horseplay, practical jokes, or scuffing will not be tolerated. 53- All posted safety rules must be obeyed and must not be removed except by management's authorization. 54- The company is waiting for the best performance of the employees to utilize the equipment as well as the specific materials of the company. The employees have to cooperate and do their best for the company's benefit. This benefit is ours. Vehicles are a very good example in this concern. 55- The company respects your right as an individual to pursue your private interests without interference. But, you should not engage in activities which conflict with the interest of your employee or require use of company time, materials, or equipment. You should not engage in activities, which impair your job performance and efficiency included your mental or physical alertness on this job. 56- It is absolutely prohibited to use any drugs or spirituous liquors at the work location. Any contradictor will be fired. 57- Comply at all times with all known federal, state and local safety laws as well as employer regulations and policies.
