Welcome to Liberty Atlantic Point

It is with great pleasure we welcome you to Liberty Living. If youve stayed with us before, please continue to read as the information in this document is updated annually and by the way Welcome Back! We are excited about your arrival and want to make your move-in process an efficient and enjoyable day. We hope this document contains all the information you need to make that happen, as well as the assistance from our team who are dedicated to helping you resolve any concerns or queries you have. The next few pages will talk you through what to do now. Before you arrive please read this document carefully as it will be crucial to finalising your booking and ensuring Liberty Living have all the information we need to get your room ready for you and deliver a smooth check in. Moving in and indeed moving away from home can be stressful and also quite unpredictable. This is why the second half of this guide contains useful local information. We hope it will help you and your family, ensuring your move in experience is easier and the start of your time with Liberty Living more enjoyable. We do hope that your time with us will be enjoyable and that we can support you in your educational goals and aspirations. PRE ARRIVAL
What do we need from you? 1. Returned Guarantor Form signed by your Guarantor required for all UK tenants. A Guarantor is a third party who will be financially responsible for your rent payment in the event that you can not provide payment. The Guarantor must be a UK resident and be able to provide us with a current Council Tax Bill, in their name, as proof of address.

2. Two passport sized photographs of yourself. 3. If you intend to use your student loan to pay for your accommodation fees and require your rent payment dates amending to coincide with your loan payment dates, we will require a copy of your Student Loan schedule document as soon as you receive it from the Student Loan Company. Paying your rent Upon booking you entered debit/credit card details to pay your 200 deposit, this debit/credit card will be used to pay your rent. If you need to pay with a different card you must contact us as a priority. Some students rely upon their Student Loan to cover their rent, often this loan is not received until a week or two after the date your rent is due if this is the case read and act upon point 3 above. What is your room number and who will you live with? Unless you have received confirmation that you have been allocated a specific room, your room number will not be confirmed until you come to collect your keys and check in. Similarly if you have formally requested to book with a group of friends we will confirm by email if you have been successful or not. Please do NOT call the residence room allocations will not be announced until you register on arrival at the residence. When can you move in? You can move in from 10am on the date your Tenancy Agreement commences or if more convenient any day after the start of your Tenancy Agreement. During move-in period our offices are open between 8.45 am to 5.45pm Monday to Friday and 10.00 am to 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday. If you arrive after these hours security will let you into your flat on production of photographic ID and you can collect your keys from reception the following day. What do you need to pack? Your accommodation will already contain all of the furniture you will need. We recommend that you wait until you and all your new flat mates have moved in, so that you can buy a toaster, kettle, ironing board and iron. All these can be purchased locally. You will need to bring your own bedding, crockery and pots and pans. Again many students wait until they move in so that they can buy some of these items with their new flat mates.

POST
Each flat has an individual post box and this can be accessed by your room key your post box is situated outside of your block. If we receive a parcel for you, you will receive a slip from the accommodation team notifying you. You will be asked to sign to confirm receipt of your parcel. Please note that we accept no responsibility for your parcels, whether signed for or not. It is very important that your full address is on each letter or parcel. These include: Asda, Breck Road, Liverpool L5 6PX Tesco, Old Swan, Liverpool L13 2BY Sainsburys, East Prescot Road, Liverpool L14 5PT Liverpool One situated in the heart of Liverpool offers a wide range of high street and designer shops and is now one of the countrys premier shopping destinations.

RECEPTION
Please note that reception opening hours are 8.45am 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Sometimes it is essential for staff and management to work outside of these hours. This does not mean that they are necessarily available for general enquiries, but Security staff will be able to assist.
