PART A (60 MARKS) Answer ALL questions. QUESTION 1 Leadership is the process of influencing behaviour of others through power that the leaders have. According to Bartol and Martin (1998) they are many sources of power that is essential to effective leadership. a. List all the sources of leader power. (6 marks) b. Briefly explain what is coercive power and expert power. (4 marks) QUESTION 2 According to Hersey and Blanchard (1982), recreation leader performs numerous functions which can be categorized to three types. a.
