Presentation o+ New Material01irections: Tell the students that they will be starting at a station that is labeled as a part o+ the heart cycle with a physical acti%ity to do" They will spend appro&imately 20 seconds at each station and when ( tell them to 3start their heart4 they can begin the e&ercise that goes with their location" 55Sa+tey66 students need to ma*e sure that they are spaced out at least an arms length apart be+ore beginning acti%ity to a%oid any possible in7uries" When ( say 3blood +low4 they need to stop and mo%e to the appropriate location +or the correct blood +low the stations will also be numbered to a%oid con+usion" They may begin the e&ercise +or the ne&t station when ( call out 3start you hear4 again" Until they ha%e been to each station" Transition: Send the students to their station that corresponds with the number ___#__ they were gi%en when counting o++" Tell them again when ( say 3start your heart4 Seconds you may begin the e&ercise and when ( say 3blood +low4 stop and mo%e on to the ne&t station" )cti%ity: Ta*es place in the gym using the +ull bas*etball court that we are gi%en" __/___ Students will be spaced out one station in each o+ the +our corners and then one Minutes on each side o+ the hal+ court line to total as 8 stations"
