Reflection Paper: Climate Change

What is climate change? For those who dont know, climate change is a
change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that
alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to
natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods. When it is
sunny, it was so hot and when it rainy it rains a lot.

The major contributor why climate change happens is humans. We are
unaware that there are activities that we are conducting that really affect the
environment. For example, the burning of farms once it was harvested, And using
of CFC appliances not knowing that CFC are the main cause of stratospheric
ozone depletion. Those activities contribute to the climate change. If we continue
doing such, people of new generation were the ones who will suffer. There will be
so many consequences that will occur. Such as Drought and Wildfire, Deadly
Heat Waves, Ecosystem Shifts and Species Die-Off and deceases namely skin
cancer, cataracts of the eye, and suppression of the immune system. IF those
happen the humans and animals will not survive.
We should act to save our planet for the welfare of the new generation. We should
act to let our children for the next years experience the earth full of happiness.
There is still ways to preserve the planet. Here are some helpful ways to
prevent global warming: Drive less. Take bikes, walk or carpool whenever
possible, consider investing in a hybrid or electric vehicle to help prevent against
further global warming, replace all the light bulbs in and around your home with
energy-efficient fluorescents that use fewer watts for the same amount of light,
Unplug electronics when they are not in use, because they still take up energy. At
the very least, turn items off when theyre not being used, Plant a tree, Buy
recycled paper products and recycle as much of your waste as possible, Bring
your own reusable canvas grocery bags when grocery shopping.
REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE.
ACT NOW SAVE OUR PLANET.
