A IIIGII CCGOOL FOR C:IUGIAK
A Iligh School in Chugiak
is certainly an exciting Jro-
and certainly not an
overly ambitious one. '
The current petition \'lhich

one could predicted that
in ten short years the enrol-

There fraMe been comments
passed that perha)s our
high school students \/Ould
be deprived of some of the
privileges enjoyed only in
a large high school if \'le
were to have a school of
our 0\m.
Ho\'/ever the general opin-
ion is that Chugiak students
are handicapped by the great
distance they must travel
to .ts.nchorage, and that in
very few instances do any
of them have the opportun-
ity to partici)ate in any
of the extra curricular ac-
tivities, that are regarded
.s the advantages received
in a larger high school.

Two local dance instrudtGDS

to offer residents of Chugiruc
all phases of dance .

been known in this area for '
her instruction in ballet,

joined with Robert Shroeder
of the Comombany Dance Studio

phases of ballroom and social
dancing ..
In two studios, one locutcd
in Birchwood and the other at
the Schroeder home at mile 15,
lli ss Cross and Schroeder
are now taking registration
for lessons in any of the ab-
ove mentioned tYPes of dance .
Only if the parents are
