M. Des. Thesis Project
- Development of an antitheft system for cars, embedded systems approach. This has become
extremely popular and has been extensively covered by leading print and TV media.
Tools and methodologies: - PIC 16F84A programming with MPLAB and study of modus operandi
of thieves when stealing cars.
-Project on Pedometer, a device which counts steps while walking.
Tools and methodologies :- Atmel ATmega8 programming in C and interface of an accelerometer
with the controller.
- Project on electronics and embedded systems to develop a teleremote control which switches
on/off any appliance by making a call to the device.
Tools and methodologies: - Basic electronics and processes underlying the working of the

- Project on electronic step counter using accelerometer interfaced with Atmel Mega8
microcontroller.
