90 Minute Synopsis

The Setting
The opening sequence of our action film production is set in
Oaks Park High School, a popular and local secondary school
located in the area of Newbury Park. The production starts
with an establishment shot of the school building to let the
audience know the location, then the scene jumps into the
actual building where the main character is introduced.
The Main Characters
Secret Agent He is the man for the job, whose task it is
to take out the guards that protect the target who he is
required to eliminate. He is presented as valiant and
dangerous, but also has a sophisticated side to him as his
appearance is of an office uniform (smart suit: black shoes,
black trousers, white shirt, black blazer and thin black
tie).
Guards These characters arent as relevant in the opening
sequence. They are just there to fulfil what has been asked
of them, which is to protect the building and the target
from any intruders that may attempt to try anything. The
guards also have the same uniform as the main character
(full suit) which is an attempt to hide their identity of a
dangerous, aggressive guard.
The Target The target doesnt have a huge role in the
opening sequence and is seen briefly. But from the small
appearance, we can see that he wears dark clothing,
portraying a mysterious and secretive persona. This
characters aim is to make it to the top of the rich ladder,
even if it means taking part in illegal activities (which is
what he has been doing) and is prepared to take out anyone
who steps in his way.
Background On The Plot
The film/production that we are going to be producing is in
the genre of action. We are attempting to tell/portray the
story of an agent (Jonathan Gardener) who has been set a
mission which requires him to take out a specific target who
is hiding out in a nearby high school. Although this is the

agents mission, it sounds simple enough, but that is far

from it. In order to reach his target, he must fight his way
through the guards (Aron Maher & Ben Bateman) who are
protecting the building from any intruders. We leave the
sequence/storyline on a cliff-hanger as the agent is shown
stumbling out of the room after a brief confrontation with
the target, when he is suddenly attacked from the side.
The Resolution
The storyline of the sequence/storyline ends on a cliffhanger as the agent is shown stumbling out of the room after
a brief confrontation with the target, when he is suddenly
attacked from the side unexpectedly...
