How does your media product represent particular social groups?

Main Character Our main character is a smartly dressed young man. This isnt a stereotypical view of young people who are normally viewed as wearing jeans and hoodies. This implies there is something different about him. Our main character is also subversive as he is not the typical tall, handsome and strong protagonist. Ours is in fact a smaller, normal looking and slender character. This shows him as a normal person.

Clothing The protagonist is wearing a dark suit which connotes seriousness and danger. This is a stereotypical representation.

Setting The dark room where the speech takes place represents him as desperate. The dark room with only his face visible represents him as mysterious and hiding. This is stereotypical as people who normally do risky jobs that put their life in danger normally work in dark and mysterious places. The garage where he walks is a typical setting as it is isolated and quiet. The car park where he hides is a stereotypical location as it is dark, quiet and secluded.

Credits The credits in a media production are mainly on a black screen. This sets the tone as dark and mysterious.
