About Me
At present, I am in my second year of Animation, studying at the University of Ulster, Belfast.
Im 21 and I have a passion for creating and telling stories. Throughout my time spent at
university, I have become skilled and confident working both with teams and also
independently to reach deadlines and produce quality work.
I am currently tailoring my skills to become more focused on good conceptual work and
storyboarding, 3D modelling, and animation. I am a quick and eager learner, with a positive
attitude towards all that I do, and I pride myself on producing the best possible work I can.
With strong interpersonal and communication skills, I can resolve team conflicts, guide others,
present confidently, and ensure all colleagues are on the same page.
In future roles, I am enthusiastic to meet new people and create great projects for audiences,
whilst also learning new skills and taking on new challenges and responsibilities. Ultimately,
I would like to create work that inspires others and brings characters to life.

UNIVERSITY OF ULSTER, BELFAST (2013-PRESENT)

BDes (Hons) Animation
In the past two years of studying, I have found myself in an environment of constant teamwork
and communication. There is a communal strive to work hard, motivate and inspire one another
to acheive greater things. Through projects in the past there has been a high emphasis placed on
teambuilding (often in teams of 4 or 5), problem-solving, and dealing with the unknown.
I have both led projects and been a team member in others, working hard consistently throughout
the two years to meet deadlines to the highest possible quality. As a team leader I have organised
responsibilities for my team members that are both fair and equal in work load, whilst also ensuring
everyone is motivated, knows exactly what to do, and can achieve their goals in time for presentation.
As a team player I support others, ensure that new ideas are presented, and all of my work is at a
high standard that complements my colleagues. In any project, communication is vital, and no
matter my role I make sure to keep others up to date with progress, I encourage others to
voice their opinions and promote a good working atmosphere.

Work Experience
POOLES SUPERVALU, MOIRA (May 2013 - April 2014)
During my employment at SuperValu, I was a part-time sales assistant responsible usually for the
operation of the off-licence till on my shifts. My duties included serving customers alcohol,
cigarettes or lottery tickets, along with the rest of their grocery shopping; providing high standards
of customer service and satisfaction; facing up the store; reducing or refunding items when required;
restocking shelves with products; stocktaking and reviewing stocktake reports of products; working
alongside my team to ensure the store was presentable and customers could find everything they
needed; promoting special offers and ensuring high sales targets were met.

SIXTEEN SOUTH (Late January - Early May 2015)

As part of my university course I was given the chance to work for Sixteen South, a local Belfast
childrens television producer, in a team of seven people for twelve weeks. On this project we
developed a potential future tv show, creating 3D visuals based on early 2D concept art. As part
of this I was very enthusiastic to put my modelling skills to use and so I created the model of one
of the two main characters. We also engaged in worldbuilding, conceptualising any side-characters
who might appear in the show, and fleshing out and re-designing existing characters. We designed
what the environment would be like, conceptualising new worlds and places the characters could
travel to, and the real world that the main character would live in, which we also visualised in 3D.
Running alongside this project, we also designed some concept pieces and a simulation of a
mobile app for the company based on their existing show Driftwood Bay.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, whether that involves going to the cinema
or out for a meal, taking outdoor walks in the countryside, or spending a quiet evening indoors.
My family mean a lot to me so I make my free time around them when I can. To relax personally,
I occassionally play video games as I have a passion for their storywriting and player immersion,
or I like to listen to music or spend time working on my own personal art and projects.
I have additional skills in music, knowing how to play violin, guitar, and cello, and in
previous years have performed with local orchestras and as a soloist. Also, I enjoy cooking
and baking with my partner, with whom I share a love for trying new foods and recipes.
