Personal profile

I'm a creative person and I always have been, I know how to build stories that
reflect my own mind as well as the world around me. I have created short films
before both recently and a long time ago and I wish to further my abilities in the
professional field. I have also found a passion for radio and sound, particularly radio
dramas and I've developed skills in sound editing as well. This is why I want to
focus on script-writing and radio.

Skills

Creativity / Innovation

In my course, I've had to write lots of ideas, character profiles and scripts which
takes quite the creative mind to do. I've been able to create unique characters and
stories that I can portray through visual media and radio.

Writing

I've been required to write a lot and I've been quite diligent with this skill as I've
been writing since I was young and I have lots of expertise in the field of writing.

Teamwork

I worked in a group for a film project and during that, I learned how to overcome
creative differences and how to do my part while helping the others in my team.

Problem solving

Creating a production can bring many issues and I had to be quick to solve ones
that I came across. Such as me not being able to use two of my actors voice lines
due to audio issues, I had to quickly replace them with two new actors as the
previous two couldn't re-record. It was a lot of work but I managed it well and came
out at the end unscathed.

Organising / Time management

Scheduling has always been important and I've been able to organise my time and
stick to the times that I've decided.

Technical skills
I've used two types of editing software, those being Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe
Audition. I've utilised features in both these softwares and built up my expertise in
using this tech over the past year.

Girl Guide

Girl Guides required lots of teamwork as many of the tasks needed multiple people
to complete (e.g. putting up tents, starting campfires, etc...) so while there I learned
how to work with other people. I also was assigned as a tent leader while we were
at camp which meant I had to help the other girls in my tent with their own tasks
such as making their bed rolls. This gave me the ability to gain leadership skills
which I still use to this day.
